Alex Michaelides

Alex Michaelides is a British-Cypriot author known for his psychological thrillers. His debut novel, The Silent Patient (2019), became a massive bestseller, praised for its gripping narrative and unexpected twist. He followed it up with The Maidens (2021), another psychological thriller inspired by Greek mythology. His latest book, The Fury (2024), continues his signature style of suspenseful storytelling.

Michaelides’ background in psychotherapy and his love for classic literature, especially Greek myths, heavily influence his writing. Before becoming a novelist, he worked as a screenwriter.
